Covid-19 Update

Club Trips, can be run again smiley

We have been working away in the background identifying ways of running approved club trips and are happy to announce that this has now been completed.

Club sponsored trips may be run with up to 6 people from up to 6 households.

The guidance document can be found <HERE> it includes a risk assessment, and a guide on how to organise a trip. Note that this doc. will be updated as things change.

The biggest difficulty of course is shuttling, therefore, at this point in time we have decided that trips needing a car-shuttle will not be planned
Instead, the focus should be on return or loop trips, or alternative shuttle methods, (cycling, walking for instance).

In addition, there is a new trip consent form <HERE>, as suggested by British Canoeing. Moving forwards, expectation is that for the foreseeable future, it will be a requirement for trip organisers to take a list for emergency contact names and numbers for paddlers.

If you are a British Canoeing member, please could you log into your Azolve membership account, link your personal membership to the club, and ensure your emergency contact details are up to date. This enables club admins to see those details and inform your contact if anything goes wrong. (https://britishcanoeing.azolve.com/)
